PROJECT
Virtual Training traveling experience for veterinary students to test on a virtual farm
BRIEF
The U.S. agri-food health system does not allow unqualified veterinarians to enter poultry farms. A fact that poses a problem for students, who are unable to perform internships while they are in training.
Looking for a solution Boehringer Ingelheim and USDA Agricultural Research Service, through its Veterinary Scholars Program, contacted Grupo Asis and Imascono's team. The goal? To recreate all the work of veterinarians on a factory farm.
The result is an educational Virtual Reality experience that recreates all the safety and sanitary protocols that veterinary professionals must follow. In addition to a tour of the testing laboratories and disease diagnosis.
An innovative training experience that has traveled to different centers, professional events and universities throughout America: Puerto Rico Veterinary Researchs Scholars, VR at IPPE, Digital AG hackathon, USAHA, AAVLD, DVM PHD students, NBAF. We are currently working on the development of Virtual Trainings for other types of industrial farms.
